COMPANY BACKGROUND
The former J.I.C. Enterprises (Hong Kong) Limited was established in 1981. It was a fast-growing company engaged in manufacturing and marketing of Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). It evolved into an electronics conglomerate and merged with the US-listed Namtai Electronics, Inc. in 2000, and later became a spin-off and listed in the HKEX. After a restructuring program of Namtai, Mr. Ivan Chui, the founder of J.I.C. joined the LCD business and co-operated with Unicorn Manufacturing (Shenzhen) Company Limited to perpetuate the LCD business until 2017. In 2017, Mr. Chui registers a new company in Hong Kong using the same renounced name: J.I.C. Enterprises (Hong Kong) Limited to continue the legacy.
